Included are notes, plans, and deeds, as well as legal decisions and documents to determine the ownership of land sold by the West Boston Bridge Co. to Harlow and the Hancock Free Bridge Corp. The collection also contains deeds to land purchased and sold by Harlow in Cambridge and Boston, leases, and rental agreements. Two volumes also contain notes and copies of deeds related to Harlow's research on this land, while a third volume is an account book concerning rent collection and charges in Boston and Cambridge.
